Adsorption dryers from L&W dry the compressed air to a pressure dew-point of -25°C, -40°C or down to -55°C and are optionally available with additional activated carbon adsorber. In the dry, highly undersaturated compressed air the condensation processes are not possible and thus no formation of liquid water can take place at temperatures above the dew point.

Adsorption dryers from L&W are made of pressure-resistant, welded and painted steel vessel, with an approval up to 420 bar. The valves are easily accessible and can be individually controlled without overlapping signals. A special blend consists of 20% water resistance silica gel and 80% highly drying molecular sieve is used for the operation.

The adsorption dryers are equipped as standard with pressure gauges and one pre- and final filter. Also the standard C1 control with display and integrated control functions handle all modes of the adsorption dryer and allow the independent individual operation of the dryer as well as integrated operation in the control of the existing compressed air systems. Together with an optional dew point sensor, the adsorption can be operated depending on the load in the variable cycle and can realize in that mode a energy saving of usually 20 - 70%.
